A military helicopter of the UN mission (MONUSCO) crashed Tuesday in Eastern Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), as a result of incident nobody has suffered.
As reported by Deputy special representative of the UN Secretary General in the DRC, Mamadou Diallo (Mamadou Diallo), the helicopter crashed Tuesday afternoon in the airport of the city of Beni in North Kivu province.
“A helicopter of Ukrainian origin crashed during takeoff, he was going to perform the operation”, — quotes Agency the statement Diallo. According to him, the incident no one was hurt.
As noted Diallo, the organization began an investigation to determine the causes of the collapse, the measures that could have prevented the incident, as well as evaluation of helicopter’s condition and the possibility of its further operation.
