In Canada a 16 year old teen sentenced to two years in prison for attempting to escape to the Islamists in Syria. On Wednesday, April 6, according to Reuters.
Teen found guilty of committing offences in the interest or at the direction of a terrorist group and attempting to leave Canada to participate in terrorist activities, the report said canadian prosecutors. However, he confessed to the robbery of the shop in 2014, but refused to plead guilty in an attempt to use the stolen money to travel to Syria.
On suspicion of the teenager in the police said his father once discovered in the back yard sack, in which was a mask, a knife and money.
According to authorities, the family immigrated to Canada from Algeria in 2003.
