The Central Bank of Brazil will release a new series of commemorative coins dedicated to the forthcoming Rio de Janeiro Olympic games. According to the newspaper Globo, put into circulation, they will be 19 February.
Collectors will have the opportunity to add to their collection of 10 coins, including 2 gold nominal value of 10 reais and 4 silver par value of 5 reais. All of them will be sold in a special gift box.
On gold reals depicted famous statue of Christ in Rio de Janeiro, which is the main attraction of this city, in General, and one of the symbols of Brazil, and the Olympic torch, designed by the organizers. On silver you can see the landscapes and architecture of the capital city of the 2016 Games.
XXXI summer Olympiad will be held from 5 to 21 August. This will be the first Olympic games to be held in South America.
