“As for the Genesis coupe, 2016 model year will be the last for this rear-drive sport coupe — said Khinli. — Currently designing a new improved and luxurious coupe that will be released under the premium brand Genesis”.
Because of the confusion between the model and the eponymous Genesis a separate brand, it was decided to abandon the existing model. The new coupe will appear after 2017, along with five new models. It is also expected that the novelty will receive a “charged” modification, which will be able to compete with the BMW M4.
The new coupe will be equipped with 3.3-liter Biturbo “six”, which debuted on the Genesis sedan G90. On this model the motor works in tandem with an eight “automatic” and produces 370 horsepower.
