The Russian army can get a modern hypersonic weapons to the beginning of the next decade. This was stated by the head of the company “Tactical missiles” Boris Obnosov.
Asked by journalists about the timing of when Russia will have hypersonic weapons, Obnosov said that the novelty is worth the wait to the beginning of 2020-ies.
He also stressed that hypersonic projects can do a good job not only for the arms industry, but also for other fields of science. Of particular note in this regard is paid to the aerodynamics, engine and methods of calculation.
Currently, the Corporation Obnosov closely interacts in hypersonic projects with the Russian Academy of Sciences, Foundation for advanced studies and the Military-industrial Commission.
