On 6 September, the speaker of the Federation Council Valentina Matvienko has proposed to reduce the volume of care for disabled Russians.
According to policy, the regional authorities should not make social security contributions for citizens who do not pay taxes and do not indicate the place of work.
Matvienko also called for the introduction of mandatory payment for this category of the population.
Chairman of the upper house of the Parliament has instructed the health Ministry and the Finance Ministry to prepare relevant amendments to the legislation.
