Let’s try to answer a very simple question, what surrounds you every day, whether it is satisfied with you and what kind of change you want?
That’s it for this and was organized by the international forum called “Environment for living, new standards”. Which gathered Russian and foreign experts in urban planning and architecture, developers and government officials.
The event was held in Tatarstan, the forum was organized by AHML on behalf of the government of the Russian Federation. where dozens of leading Russian and international urbanists have expressed a number of ideas for the development of Russian cities.
I myself have to admit the forum has not got, and found out about it from a review of Alexander Belenky macos, in fact almost all of the photos in my review of his post.

Here, we note that a sophisticated housing appears some developers segment of the economy at the design stage are oriented on new standards of quality and comfort and provide the project not only convenient layout, but also common areas, and the surrounding area. And someone goes even further and tenants have their own storage rooms (as in Europe) and a Parking space in the underground Parking. The courts are free from vehicles.
Ricardo Bofill, head of the Ricardo Bofill Taller de Arquitectura:

Christoph Kohl, the architect and founder of architectural Bureau K+K Architekten:

Developers often try to completely copy Western designs, but forgetting that all that appears on our streets and not always successfully fits into the overall picture space.

The size of the apartments “20-40-60-80-100”
It was about the fact that the housing funds in the new houses were built according to the following formula “20-40-60-80-100”. Not to create any non-diversified apartment building where all apartments will be 100 meters or for all apartments — on 20 meters. It must be a certain combination. This idea was voiced by Vice-Premier Igor Shuvalov. He also stressed that today the construction of housing need to focus not so much on the number of meters, but on the quality.
Large kitchen
It is very important to get away from the old “Khrushchev” kitchen. The kitchen is one of the most valuable parts of the average apartment in Moscow. Increase area of kitchen 6 sq. m gives about the same increase in prices as an increase of 20 sq. m total area of the apartment.
Architectural variety
Need to clarify what diversity and chaos are two very different things. Standards should not become boredom. It is clear that it is not necessary to go into the routine of things, the order is necessary in order to achieve the right diversity.
The benefits of diversity in a typical building on the example of lemurs:
Lemurs eat only bananas and being in a confined space, very sad from the dreary boredom and aloofness that they are pursued, including from the monotonous food. To distract them from boredom, the zoo began every day to cut the bananas in different ways- with stars, circles, cubes, strips, etc., added to this sweetest essence of the colors of life. Large distances between houses
Russian legislation provides for long distances between buildings that leads to the creation of a residential “island”, through the.
