January 8, 1978 in Iran began a series of events that resulted in the exile of Shah Mohammed Reza Pahlavi, the abolition of the monarchy and the establishment of the new administration, headed by Ayatollah Khomeini. In history these events are called “Islamic revolution”. In this collection we will show how the East of the country looked like before the revolution and how they look now.
