Numerous interventions in different countries hinder the settlement of the conflict in Syria. As informs Agency France Presse, this was stated by the President of France Francois Hollande.

About to him, this concerns, first and foremost, Russia is supporting President Bashar al-Assad, and Turkey, leading the fighting against the Kurds.

“For a year Russia is supporting the regime of Bashar al-Assad. Need an urgent cessation of hostilities and resumption of negotiations. With this message I will address to the President of Russia Vladimir Putin – said Hollande. The Russian Federation shall be an active participant of the negotiation process in Syria, not one of the main actors in the events”. Paris expects from Moscow in constructive efforts to resolve the conflicts in Syria and Ukraine.

Turkey, according to the French President, has deployed its army on the territory of Syria to protect against terrorist group “Islamic state”, but also fighting against the Kurds who are fighting ISIS.
