BMW has updated M140i, M240i coupe and convertible BMW M240i.
The BMW company presented a new modification of the hatchback 1-Series and the coupe and convertible 2-Series — M140i and M240i respectively. These versions, the appearance of which in the sale was scheduled for July of 2016, received a new six-cylinder turbocharged engine.
The impact of the plant on M140i and M240i makes 340 horsepower and 500 Nm of torque. This is 14 forces and 50 Nm more in comparison with the “six”, which is now used on the M135i and M235i.
The new engine received an aluminium crankcase and cylinder head, as well as bestselling the intake system of the latest generation Valvetronic. In addition, the models have changed soundproofing, making “signature sound became even richer.”
The motor, as before, combined with either a six-speed manual gearbox, or with vosmidiapazonnym “automatic”. The new BMW will be offered with both rear and all-wheel drive xDrive. In the latter case, an automatic transmission is standard equipment.
