The hermit of Pennsylvania: what is known about the suspect in Turkish coup
Gulen, communicating with a small group of journalists, denied all the accusations.
“I don’t think the world believes in the accusations made by the President (Recep Tayyip) Erdogan. There is a possibility that it was a staged coup, which could be designed to further accusations of Gulenists”, — quotes the words of the preacher, the British newspaper the Guardian.
On a question of journalists about whether he would return to Turkey if the coup was done, gülen answered in the affirmative. He said he misses home, but for him there is “one important factor”, which is freedom. “I’m here far away from political problems in Turkey, live with my freedom,” he added.
