Opposition preacher Fethullah Gulen, whom the Turkish authorities have announced “the mastermind” of an armed coup, suggested that the insurgency was “staged” nature.
Imam Gulen, who now lives in the United States, announced its involvement in the coup and suggested that the rebellion was orchestrated by the authorities, reports Reuters. Gülen noted that “there is a likelihood that the attempted coup in Turkey could be orchestrated”.
“It seems that they have no tolerance for any movement, any group, any organization that is not under their complete control,” he said.
