The official premiere of the car will take place on 20 October.
The Chinese company Geely, which owns Volvo, has published a teaser of the first model of a new car brand Lynk & Co, who will create “smart cars”. Judging by the picture, the Chinese are preparing for the premiere of a compact crossover.
It is expected that a small SUV will be built on a modular chassis Volvo — CMA, which subsequently will form the basis of a new family of compact cars of the Swedish brand.
In Lynk & Co announced that their first model is “more than just a car.” The Chinese noted that the development of new products was attended by leading technology companies, so it will be the “machine of the highest network capabilities.”
The premiere of the crossover will take place in Berlin on Thursday, November 20. The project will represent the first Vice President of Lynk & Co, Alan Visser, who previously worked as marketing Director at Volvo.
