Gazprom announced the creation in Berlin of a new company that will start selling gas at European gas stations. About echosounders on the website of Gazprom Marketing & Trading.
As noted in the statement, Gazprom NGV Europe — a fully owned subsidiary Gazprom Germania was founded on August 24. “The company will comply with all regulatory requirements of the energy act in Germany, which provides for the separation of trade and transport,” — said in the text.
Gazprom NGV Europe will continue the activities of Gazprom Germania in the trade of compressed natural gas. The new company became the operator of the 50 filling stations in Germany and another ten in the Czech Republic and Poland.
The managing Director of the company appointed Johann Uwe (Uwe Johann) of Gazprom Marketing & Trading.
As reported in the annual report Gazprom Germania for 2014, the German Federal network Agency demanded the company stop selling compressed natural gas at filling stations due to violations of the law on energy. In response to “daughter” Gazprom Marketing & Trading has filed a lawsuit to the Higher regional court of Dusseldorf.
