World champion in the heavyweight versions of WBO, WBA and IBO Tyson fury risks losing a Boxing license.
As you know, 22 Sep fury passed a positive doping test for cocaine. Addiction to drugs can cost supertag British Boxing license and, accordingly, the loss of their championship belts.
The British Committee for the control box (BBBoC) on October 12 the next meeting will consider the case of the controversial boxer. Six years ago for drugs, the organization has selected a license from Ricky Hatton – fury faces the same fate.
“He’s licensed to us. Organization WBO and WBA can deprive him of his titles, to declare them vacant, or he may himself refuse them. We are dealing with a license. So in theory, if we temporarily suspend it, then they will have no other choice but to deprive him of his belts, because he will not be able to protect them,” said the General Secretary of the British Committee for the management of Boxing Robert Smith.
In November, Tyson fury may get a lengthy suspension in another case in June this year, British anti-doping Agency has accused the world champion of the use of anabolic steroids.
