The car, built on the Shelby GT350, was named “Ole Yeller”.
It was created in honor of the legendary aircraft P-51D Mustang, which was used extensively during the Second World war.
The famous fighter P-51D was also a modification of the “Ole Yeller”, which in 1985-m to year, after the end of production of the main model set the record for propeller aircraft, having covered the distance from one coast to the other in 5 hours and 20 minutes. By the way, this result is still unsurpassed.
It is reported that the special model of the car “Ole Yeller” was created for charitable purposes: this Mustang will be sold at auction and the proceeds will go to pilot educational programs for young American pilots.
The car body is painted bright yellow; the model has a massive rear wing and numerous aerodynamic elements that create a special silhouette that, according to the creators, should be associated with air travel. Under the hood — atmospheric “eight” in volume of 5.2 l, outstanding 526 HP as the “donor” GT350.
