In the Rosarkhiv is preparing to release a documentary collection “Life and works of Solzhenitsyn in the archival documents”, the publication of which is timed to the centennial birthday of the writer. This was reported by “Rossiyskaya Gazeta” Andrey Artizov – head of Rosarkhiv.
According to Artizov, this book will become the gift to the admirers of Solzhenitsyn, the book will include new discoveries, including and literary trends. In particular, the collection introduces readers to the documents from the investigation file, after which the writer was in the GULAG. The documents were provided with the consent of the archives of the FSB and the defense Ministry.Alexander Solzhenitsyn in his student years he wrote poems, in 1974 he published his poetry collection “Prussian nights”. The Rosarkhiv in the new edition aims to include previously unknown poem writer, which dates from 1950, is a poetic essay testifies to the intellectual and spiritual development of Solzhenitsyn.
In the Russian state archive of literature and art kept a personal archive of the writer, however, Rosarkhiv is not able to open access to the full, as the disclosure documents fully owned by the heir of the writer, which his widow Natalya Solzhenitsyn.
As noted Artizov, recently Natalia Solzhenitsyn visited the archive and examined the documents of the Foundation her husband, and also examined the changes occurring in storage.
