Under stress people often use nontraditional food, which on the contrary only reinforce the negative state.

Scientists have proven that the correct choice of food during times of stress help to overcome it.

The Fund’s experts Robert wood Johnson conducted a study and found that most often people in stressful situations, choose fast food, foods high in sugar, salt and flavour enhancers.

However, this power enhances the body’s production of stress hormones and everything repeats in a circle – stress, unhealthy food, increased stress, unhealthy food again. Experts suggest the way to choose products that are soothing the nervous system and blocks the production of anxiety hormone.

So, the researchers recommend increased in the diet the percentage of products containing omega-3 acids. Most of them are contained in marine fish, vegetable oils, seeds and nuts.
