Five European companies filed a lawsuit to “Gazprom”

From Gazprom’s five European partners to require a court order to revise the price of Russian gas supplies.

This is stated in the report of the Corporation for the first quarter of 2016 published on the website of the company.

Suit against Gazprom filed the Danish DONG Naturgas A/S, PGNiG, Polish, Turkish BOTAS Petroleum Pipeline Corporation, the Dutch Gas Terra B. V. and the London-based Shell Energy Europe.

Hearings on the case of DONG Naturgas A/S will be held in October-November 2016. Gazprom export was appointed for the consideration of its arbitrator.

The Polish gas company PGNiG turned to arbitration court in Stockholm with a suit against Gazprom and Gazprom export. The subject of the proceedings was the renegotiation of pricing under long term contracts from 1996. The decision must be rendered not later than 31 July 2017.

The Turkish state company BOTAS Petroleum Pipeline Corporation demanded by the court of reduction of price of the gas purchased under the agreement of December 29, 2014. Schedule of arbitration would not be approved in the near future.

Dutch Gas Terra B. V. has initiated proceedings on may 4, 2016. During the month, Gazprom export has to appoint the second arbitrator and to direct your opinion.

In the case of Shell Energy Europe, an arbitral Tribunal has already been formed. Hearings will be held is expected in February 2018.
