The successor to the Ferrari FF, a version with a 610-horsepower naduvnoj “eight”.
Company Ferrari has presented the new modification of the supercar GTC4 Lusso (the successor model (FF), received the prefix T in the title. The novelty became the first quadruple model of the Italian brand, which was equipped with a turbo engine.
GTC4 Ferrari Lusso T equipped with V8 supercharged unit working volume of 3.9 liters, which is an alternative to a 6.3-litre, 680-horsepower twelve-atmosferico. “Turbomachinery develops 610 horsepower and 760 Nm of torque (available in a range of from 3000 to 5250 rpm). The engine is paired to a seven-speed robotized gearbox with two clutches.
Unlike all-wheel-drive beznadejnoi modifications, the thrust of the turbo unit GTC4 Lusso T is transmitted only to the rear wheels. Weight equal to 1740 pounds, or 50 kilograms lighter than the standard supercar. Weight distribution was 46:54 in favor of the rear axle (against 47:53 in favor of the rear axle from atmospheric version).
According to unofficial data, the supercar able to gain first “hundred” for 3.5 seconds and its top speed exceeds 320 kilometers per hour. For comparison, GTC4 Ferrari Lusso with the V12 unit is accelerated to hundred kilometres per hour in 3.4 seconds and its maximum speed is equal to 335 kilometers per hour.
The novelty has received an upgraded control system for lateral slides, Side Slip Control 3 (SSC3). While drifting electronics compares its parameters with maximum allowable values and, if necessary, helps the driver to control the slide with the traction control and active rear differential.
Public premiere GTC4 Ferrari Lusso T will be held in late September at the Paris motor show. It is expected that at the same motor show will debut an open modification of the Ferrari LaFerrari will.
