Mark Webber at the end of the current season will put an end to the career of a professional racer.
Last start in his career Webber will be a six-hour race in Bahrain, which will be held next year. After a career Webber will not walk away from Motorsport, and will be a special representative of Porsche.
“I will miss the speed, downforce and competitions, but I want to leave while still on top and looking forward to start new cooperation.
It’s a bit weird to sit behind the wheel of the car most recently on stage in Bahrain, but now I will try to enjoy every second of the remaining races,” said 40-year-old driver.
Webber came into Formula 1 in 2000 year, the status of the test rider. Two years later, the Aussie made his debut in the tournament. His first victory in the elite of Motorsport Webber won in 2009-m year, “Red bull”.
Aussie thrice occupied the third place in the standings of Formula 1. On account of Webber’s nine wins, 42 podiums, 13 pole positions and 19 fastest laps.
After retiring from Formula 1 mark Webber became the champion of the World Endurance Championship (WEC) and ranked second on the legendary race “24 hours Le-Mana”.
