Producer and TV star David Gest has been found dead in his hotel room in London. On Tuesday, April 12, reports The Independent.
The cause of death is still unknown gest. London police said that traces of violence and drug use in the room of the deceased was found.
The guest was 62 years old. In 2002, he married singer and actress Liza Minnelli, but their marriage dissolved a year later. Gest later sued Minnelli, hoping to receive from her $ 10 million in compensation for the violence and abuse inflicted on him during family life. The court took the side of Minnelli.
In 2001, Gest produced the most popular in the history of American television musical concert dedicated to the 30th anniversary of artistic career of Michael Jackson. In the second half of the 2000s, he became a popular figure on British television, where he participated in such reality shows as “celebrity, save me!” and “Big brother celebrity”.
