As the portal “Karelinform”, a new initiative of the Ministry of Finance and the Bank of Russia will be deprived of the pensions of those earning more than 50 thousand rubles per month. According to officials, the state could not provide the high level of pensions for citizens with stable high income, so the wealthy Russians should take care of their old age on their own. As stated by the Minister of Finance Anton Siluanov, the new system will allow citizens to independently form their own retirement using Bank accounts. This approach, according to the Minister, will significantly increase the pension of the Russians, whereas the current system can not do this in full.
