Diet for poisoning should be physiologically complete and contain all necessary for the body components – fats, proteins and carbohydrates. The main feature is the cooking steamed or boiled. Light diet is designed to protect the walls of the esophagus, stomach and duodenum from adverse mechanical, thermal or chemical factors. In addition, it should prevent the development of inflammatory processes in the organs of digestion and fermentation of intestinal disorders.

Diet during the first 3 days after the poisoning involves a minimal amount of food, because its very difficult. It includes liquid and gelatinous dishes, with the exception of mashed potatoes or milk. The number of meals quickens to 6 times a day, if necessary, the patient should receive it around the clock, at intervals of 2-2. 5 hours. Food should be not too hot but not cold.

With regard to the chemical composition of food and its caloric value, during the day the patient should receive about 15 g protein, 15 g fat and 200 g carbs. Daily calorie allowance – 1000 salt – not more than 5 g, and the total weight of the daily ration must not exceed 2 kg.

Culinary processing. Foods boiled, steamed and used in liquid, pureed and mashed form.

Diet. Fractional meal in the form of heat to 5-6 times a day, subject to bed mode.

Recommended and excluded products and dishes

1. Bread and flour products. Recommended: bread from wheat flour, baking the previous day (limited); crumbs of white bread; nesdobnoe cookies. Excluded are: rye and fresh bread, products from fancy pastry, crepes, pancakes.

2. Meat and poultry. Recommended: lean beef, veal, chickens, turkeys, mashed and chopped, boiled in water or steamed with addition of a rice stuffing instead of bread; the meat is passed 2-3 times through a meat grinder with fine screen. The chicken is boiled. Jellied minced meat. Exclude all fatty, lamb, pork, goose, duck, braised and roasted piece, sausage, ham, smoked, canned food.

3. Fish. Recommended: low-fat (pike perch, perch, carp, etc.) a piece chopped and mashed, boiled in water or steamed, jellied, salted caviar. Excludes: fatty species, salted, smoked, pickled, canned.

4. Eggs. Recommended: boiled, steam omelets, in dishes (one per day). Excludes: raw, fried, boiled.

5. Dairy products. Recommended: acidophilic milk and paste, calcined grated cheese. Excluded are: whole milk, cream, sour cream, one-day kefir, cheese.

6. Fats. Recommended: butter in its natural form and ready meals. Excludes: other types of fats.

7. Cereals, pasta and legumes. Recommended: rice, semolina, oat, buckwheat mashed in the form of porridges with water or skim broth, steam puddings, boiled vermicelli. Excludes: barley, millet, barley, crumbly porridge, macaroni casserole, beans.

8. Vegetables. Recommended: in the form of decoctions (added to soup). Excluded: all kinds.

9. Soups. Recommended: weak low-fat meat, chicken or fish broth, with rice, semolina, noodles, and meatballs. Mucous soups are the same broth with butter. Excludes: on a strong and fatty broth, milk, vegetables, legumes, cold.

10. Fruits, sweet dishes and sweets. Recommended: applesauce, jelly and jelly juice of sour berries and fruits, decoction of dried black currant, blueberry, dogwood, quince, cherry. Sugar in limited quantities. Excludes fresh fruit and vegetables, dried fruit, fruit drinks, honey, jam and other sweets.

11. The sauces and spices. Recommended: butter, fat-free broth. Excludes: spices.

12. Drinks. Recommended: tea (especially green infusion, coffee, cocoa on the water; the juices of sour fruits and berries, diluted with water; decoction of dried black currant, blueberry, wild cherry, dogwood, quince, wild rose. Excluded: coffee and cocoa with milk, beer, grape juice, soda, and cold drinks.
