Famous Soviet and Russian writer Fazil Iskander died in Moscow on 88-m to year of life.
Fazil Abdulovich Iskander was born in Sukhumi.
Iskander started as a poet in the second half of 1950-ies was published two collection of his poems.
Literary fame brought him the publication of the novel “Constellation Kozlotura” in the “New world” in 1966. Among his other works is the epic “Sandro from Chegem”, a parable “Rabbits and Boas”, stories about a boy Chica, “the Man and his surroundings”, “Poet”, “person Parking” and many others. Iskander wrote only in Russian.
Books by Fazil Iskander was shot a number of films and staged many performances. The writer has repeatedly noted awards and government awards.
