Recently the Patriarch of Moscow and all Russia Kirill signed a petition calling to ban abortions in Russia. The document also States that for the conceived child should recognize the status of human beings, but on the basis that his life and health should be protected by the law.
The petition was supported by hundreds of people, including the Supreme mufti of Russia Talgat Tadjuddin and the Chairman of the Commission of the Public chamber of the Russian Federation for the support of families, children and maternity Diana Gurtskaya.

“I totally understand why the position of Patriarch had such resonance. The Church has consistently advocated against abortion. The appeal contained a very important provision for recognition of a child conceived special status and protection. I think this is an extremely progressive step and I am sure that eventually mankind will come to this at different periods resulted in the need for the equality of women or the guarantees of the rights of people of different races and nationalities”, — said the singer in an interview with RIA Novosti.
All women who decided to have an abortion, Gurtskaya suggested to give birth and give the baby to her: “I Want to appeal to those who planned to get rid of it: please think again. Imagine the wonder and happiness you have. And if the child you don’t need, do not kill, and give it to me”.
