Hurricane Matthew was on the Islands in the Caribbean.
The passage of the “Matthew” for the Caribbean region brought destruction and casualties in Haiti, the Dominican Republic, Colombia and Saint Vincent and the Grenadines.
Information about the number of victims varies: officially killed at least nine people in all these countries, however, the media of the Dominican Republic reported nine dead in Haiti. While this information is not confirmed.
It is also reported that no less than 899 thousand people were evacuated in Cuba in connection with the approaching hurricane. Basically, the evacuation is carried out in the provinces of Camaguey, Granma, Las Tunas, Santiago de Cuba, Holguin and Guantanamo. These area experts call the most dangerous from the point of view of a hurricane.
