Available in three trim levels — SR5, Limited and Platinum, the SUV continues to be powered by the same 5.7-liter atmospheric V8 engine with a power of 386 HP and 544 Nm of torque, which allows the maximum weight of a towed trailer 3 360 kg.
The updated version offers 12 exterior colors, and a fuel consumption of 18 liters per 100 km when operating in the city and 13.8 l/100 km on the highway. The eight-seater SUV boasts a Luggage compartment of 400 liters 3, and presented in standard specifications of the entry-level SR5 fog lights, roof rack, two-position sunroof with electric drive with automatic tilt/slide, three-zone automatic climate control, 8-way adjustable driver seat and multifunction steering wheel.
Level of specification the Sequoia Limited adds front and rear Parking sensors, sliding Windows in the rear doors, 20-inch wheels, leather trim steering wheel and heated front seats with electric adjustment and curtains on the Windows, seats second and third row.
Top range-Platinum offers three driving modes, air suspension, wireless headphones, 9-inch screens for rear seat passengers, cruise control with laser and memory for the seats.
2017 Sequoia comes with technology stop/start and smart brake (brake redistributive efforts) on 2WD models and active traction control in a 4WD version. The TRAC of the past years replaces the A-TRAC. And security system, Toyota Star using the electronic “nannies” helps the driver in steering the vehicle. Optional Multi-Mode 4WD uses a self-locking Torsen center differential and the transfer case in two speeds, where the low-speed mode is activated in a rotary washer. In addition, the Central differential can be locked with the button.
