The company Peugeot at the auto show in the Chinese Chengdu showed the sedan of the new generation 308.
The production of sedan Peugeot 308 launched at the production site Dongfeng-PSA in China.
The model is based on a modular platform EMP2, so will have a lot in common with the European version of the hatchback.
The wheelbase of the sedan is 2 675 mm, length – 4 590 mm, width – 1,820 and height -1 488 mm.
In motion, the novelty will be powered by a 136-horsepower 1.2-liter turbo engine with a torque of 230 Nm and 117-horsepower 1.6-liter unit with a torque of 150 Nm.
Paired with the engine will work 5 – band “mechanics” or 6-step “automatic”, while the second – only 5-speed manual transmission.
The cost of the new Peugeot 308 sedan in China ranges from 108 to 160 thousand yuan (about 16 400 – 24 300 dollars).
