In Paris debuted a prototype of a hybrid GT-PHEV.
Company Mitsubishi Motors has released new photos and technical details of the new concept GT-PHEV, which was announced in mid-September. Part of the powertrain, the show car includes three electric motor.
One of them, with a capacity of 120 horsepower, is located on the front axle and the other two, outstanding in the amount of 120 forces are on the rear axle. In addition, the structure of the power plant includes a 2.5-liter gasoline engine and is located under-floor battery pack with a capacity of 25 kilowatt-hours.
The electric concept can travel 120 kilometers. With charged batteries and a full tank crossover is able to overcome the 1,200 km.
In addition, four-wheel drive prototype was grille with auto-adjustable straps, a rear view camera instead view monitor DVR and panoramic roof. The show car is equipped with a system which selects the optimum energy saving mode based on weather data and GPS.
About the prospect of the production version of the GT-PHEV is not reported. It was assumed that the show car is a harbinger of all-electric crossover, which is planned for 2020.
