On the border with Canada, in the Northern States – Montana, there are beautiful glacier national Park, created in 1910. The scenery here is truly amazing and diverse, Rocky mountains, lying in the Park, give shelter to numerous fauna. It is home to such rare animals as the Baibolov, grizzly bears, wolverines, caribou, mountain goats, bison, and canadian lynx.
The world of birds is represented by such wonderful birds as great blue Heron, Golden eagle, bald eagle, peregrine Falcon, American Swan and many others. The ecosystem of this place remains almost untouched for many years.
In the Park there are a number of lakes – from large to very small. One of the most famous is lake McDonald, it is the longest and deepest of all the ponds of the Park. Its length is about 15 kilometers, the total area of 27.61 km2 and the depth is as much as 140 meters.
