Experts of the organization for the protection of the rights of consumers Foodwatch found in chocolate Kinder carcinogens. About it writes The Independent.
According to the publication, in the products of the chocolate maker was discovered the so-called aromatic mineral oils (MOAH), which are formed during oil refining. Dangerous excess concentration of such oils has been recorded in three types of chocolates out of 20 tested samples of products from crisps to chocolate bars.
According to The Local, these substances can cause cancer. Presumably, they fall into the product with the wrapper. Representative John khig Foodwatch told the newspaper that not recommend buying these products because the concentrations of MOAH they “simply unacceptable for human consumption”.
The organization informed the public about the results of the examination and urged the chocolate manufacturer to withdraw from the market dangerous products, but was refused. In the Association of German confectioners (BDSI) declared that the Foodwatch concentrations of MOAH should not cause concern.
