Central Bank predicted the Russian banks profit at the level of 500 billion rubles

Profit of the banking sector in Russia in 2016 could exceed 500 billion rubles. On Tuesday, June 14, said the Chairman of the Bank of Russia Mikhail Sukhov, reports TASS.

From January to may, profits of banks increased to 234 billion rubles. “This allows a more optimistic attitude to the profit forecast for the year. Most likely, it will exceed 500 billion rubles, how much — I don’t know,” said Sukhov.

“As the next data can be varying degrees of optimism to treat their own forecast, and then adjust,” said he. The Chairman of the Central Bank added that now the Bank is its forecast with optimism.

June 9, analysts at investment Bank Goldman Sachs and Blackrock advised to pay attention to the assets of developing countries, especially Russia and Brazil.

In 2015, the profit of the Russian banking sector amounted to 192 billion. While a year earlier it reached 589 billion rubles.
