The pilots of the aircraft carrying 140 people, has fallen asleep at the controls during the flight, reports Life.
During the voyage the crew passenger Boeing 737, which was flying from France to Kuwait, stopped responding to signals, controllers from Italy and Greece. Thereafter, because of fears of a possible terrorist attack with a base on the island of Crete were scrambled two F-16 fighter.
Passengers accompanying their aircraft and told the stewards. The crew went into the cockpit to the pilots for clarification. However, they slept, and the plane was in autopilot mode.
A similar incident occurred in 2011, a pilot with the Scandinavian airline SAS, who fell asleep at the helm during the voyage from Copenhagen to Stockholm. The man admitted that he was not able to get enough sleep before the flight — he slept only a few hours, and the flight from Copenhagen was his fourth of the day.
