British Director Ken loach has won the main award of the Cannes film festival “Palme d’or” for the film “I, Daniel Blake”.
The previous movie for which K. loach received the “Palme d’or”, was “the Wind that rustles the Heather” in 2006.
The winner of the Grand Prix of the festival was the canadian Xavier Dolan with the film “It’s just the end of the world”, the prize for best Director went to two bidders – the Frenchman Olivier Assayas and Romanian Director Cristian Mungiu.
