The automaker has ceased to hide the prototype Escala.
The company Cadillac has officially unveiled a new concept car, called Escala. The prototype is a harbinger of a new flagship model, which will be located at a level above CT6 sedan and also showcases a new design direction for the American automaker.
Overall length Cadillac Escala is 5347 mm, width 1948 mm, height — 1455 mm. The wheelbase of the prototype is equal 3228 millimeters. Thus, the concept car is 163 mm long, 69 mm wider and 17 mm below the CT6. The difference in distance between the front and rear axle is 119 millimeters in favor of the Escala.
The basis of the prototype lay down a modified version of the rear-wheel drive chassis that was used to create CT6. The concept car is equipped with 4.2-liter twin-turbo V8 engine, the return of which is unknown. The automaker said only that the engine is equipped with shut-off four cylinders to save fuel.
Cadillac Escala also received 22-inch wheels are made of organic LEDs and optics, false radiator grille with three-dimensional structure.

Plating the interior of the Escala was carried out manually. In the decoration were used materials which are used in the world of high fashion.
