Bosch told about a new development – the accelerator pedal that vibrates, knocks, or increases resistance, if the driver exceeds the speed limit or consumes too much fuel. The company hopes that in the future this technology will help reduce harmful emissions and improve road safety.
Also the pedal can vibrate Bosch, “suggesting” to the driver the optimum moment to change gear. In hybrid vehicles this development will signal about switching of the car with the electric drive train on the engine. In addition, it is activated, for example, when coasting downhill.

In the future, the pedal will be able to receive information from navigation systems, propulsion systems and electronic security systems, “adjusting” to the style of the person driving, weather and road conditions. The company noted that it will help to reduce fuel consumption by about seven percent.

In 2013, Bosch introduced an electronic mechanism for the clutch, which was named Wed. The new product will allow drivers to travel at low speeds without using the clutch pedal. The company also has developed a stabilization system, settings, which you can download from the Internet.
