Currently hard at work on the sequel of the picture 1982, shot by Director Ridley Scott. Like the original film, “blade Runner 2” will be a free adaptation of the Philip K. dick novel “do androids Dream elektroauto?”. The main parts of the plot are currently being kept secret, but the Director confirmed that the events of the film will take place several decades after the events of the original. Los Angeles of the future has grown on the West coast, and the climate is “crazy” – the ocean, the rain, the snow became very toxic. On one of the sketches for the painting, we see the machine of the future car that hovers above the streets and destroys snow.
Submitting concept art for the upcoming film, Villeneuve said:I remember the first film I’ve seen him thousands of times and know by heart. This Los Angeles of 2019, this darkness, this could. This film spawned my desire to do more directing – of course, when I received such a tempting offer, I didn’t know what to do, because the failure was not in my plans.
