Biochemist told, how many eggs can be eaten daily

The biochemist and nutrition coach John Berardi said, how often you eat eggs.

So, one large egg contains about 185 mg of cholesterol. The American heart Association recommends a limit of 300 mg per day.

According to Berardi, the cholesterol that is consumed by man, has little effect on the rate of cholesterol in the blood.

As the expert explained, our body makes cholesterol on its own. Every day the human body produces 1 to 2 grams of the substances (this is 5-10 times higher than the level of cholesterol in a large egg.)

Therefore, there is such a pattern — if there is more cholesterol from food, the body produces it less. And Vice versa: eat less cholesterol — the body produces more.

Berardi notes that scientists have long established that daily consumption of eggs is not associated with cholesterol problems or heart disease.

In addition, observations have shown that people who ate up to two eggs a day lost weight faster than those who did not eat this product.

Very useful egg yolks that contain calcium, iron, phosphorus, zinc, thiamine, choline, lutein, zeaxanthin, omega-3, folic and Pantothenic acids, vitamins A, D, E, B6 and B12.

Therefore, if a person has no personal contraindications, diabetes or a rare genetic disorder, then you may eat eggs almost every day, but like any product, they should not be abused, experts say.
