“Adolescents have incomplete pedagogical education, the lack of experience of working with children and there was no special preparation for survival in extreme situations. Only under pressure from the administration of the camp they went to this ill-fated trip on the water under threat of expulsion from the College,” the petition reads. At the moment it was signed by more than 1.7 thousand people.

Classmate detainee instructor Lyudmila Vasilyeva wrote in “Vkontakte” that the students went to the camp counselors. “According to the contract documents, and we do have supervisors, but for some reason became instructors, although appropriate education, we do not have. We do not know how to manage boats, do not know how to survive in field conditions and in conditions of extreme situations”, — reported user Ksenia Fox.
