Banker-bankrupt owes billion rubles of alimony

The former owner of the Bank “Pushkino” Alexei Alyakin, declared bankrupt in early 2016, showed a debt to 1,037 billion in child support before the former spouse. About this “Vedomosti”, referring to the notice of Arbitration court of Moscow.

If the court agrees with her claim, other creditors may remain virtually empty. As the newspaper notes, the amount of alimony may indicate an attempt to withdraw funds.

Alyakin debt to three creditors is estimated at 624,5 million rubles, and the state 280 million. Among its assets includes land, 24 apartments in Moscow and Sochi, the Bank, shares in various firms. The property must be sold before June 30.

In 2011-2012 Alyakin was considered the main owner of suburban Bank “Pushkino” (formally, its share was 20 percent). By may 2013, it has sold its stake in the Bank, and in September of the same year, the credit institution had its license revoked.

At this point, the amount of insurance payments to depositors of the Bank became record in the history of the Agency on insurance of contributions (over 20 billion). By the time of the revocation of the license Alyakin has already sold the package in “Pushkino”. Alyakin subsequently sold his share in the Yunikorbank, its latest banking asset.

Alyakin, as an individual entrepreneur, through the court itself initiated the bankruptcy proceedings in August 2013 when its debt to creditors amounted to 500 million rubles. To bankruptcy in January against Alyakin continued process monitoring, it follows from the definitions of the court.
