As a result of rocket attacks five medical facilities and two schools in Northern Syria killed at least fifty civilians, injured many more. This was stated by UN Secretary-General ban Ki-moon.
As reports Associated Press with reference to the Deputy of the official representative of the UN Farhan Haq, the victims of the missile strikes were children.
In turn ban Ki-moon called the attacks “a flagrant violation of international law” that “destroys more of the health care system and education in Syria.”
Also the UN Secretary-General stressed that these attacks on hospitals “questioning” all of the truce agreement that had been reached in Munich.
As previously reported, the hospital of the international organization “Doctors without borders” in North-Western Syria was destroyed by an air strike on 15 February. As a result of an airstrike killed seven people (five patients, the nurse and the security guard of the hospital), eight doctors were missing. According to preliminary data, the building was hit by four missiles.
