Baiting Lula and the end of democracy in Brazil

Травля Лулы и конец демократии в Бразилии

Continued attempts to remove Lula da Silva from political life in Brazil that resulted in real political persecution, testify to the fact that Brazil has gone from the democratic path and embarked on a dangerous path leading to dictatorship and coup. A special role in this process played by the state justice (action and inaction) and the systematic defamation campaigns by the local media.

Protected by the same lawyer who represents Julian Assange, Lula, went on the hours worked by the way and sent a letter to the UN, in which he drew attention to the fact that the government has become selective.

Unfounded accusations Lula da Silva that he is allegedly trying to impede investigation of corruption cases, based on unsubstantiated testimony of political figures led to a political and legal scandal, and the scale of persecution exceeded all limits of democratic norms. When the state justice becomes complicit in political persecution, and mass media become the main agents of the prosecution not presenting any evidence, principles of law and democracy replaced by political repression.
