In may, the second consecutive month was observed industrial growth: 0.7 percent after 0.5 percent in April. Since the month of February saw industrial growth at 1.0%, in January-may industrial output growth came to a symbolic 0.1%, contrasting sharply with last year’s decline of 2.3% (and even decline in the beginning of 2013). The main engine of growth is the mining industry (growth in April was 1.7%, in may – 1.5%), but manufacturing industry shows even symbolic, but the growth (0.6% in April and 0.3% in may). The industry’s natural monopolies (production and distribution of electricity, gas and water) in April reduced its production by 4.0% in may increased by 2.1%.
