Russia approved the program of promotion of export of an armored car “Typhoon-K (KAMAZ-53949), developed at the Kama automobile plant. According to Isaykin, as promising markets are considered the countries of North Africa, the Middle East, Central and South-East Asia, Latin America and CIS countries.
In the “Rosoboronexport” noted that the vehicle KAMAZ-53949 Typhoon-K” is intended for transportation of personnel and cargo, and to protect them from small arms and explosive devices. In addition, based on the base platform you can create machine communications, mobile artillery systems, cranes, transport-starting the machine unmanned aerial vehicles, tow trucks, excavators and other types of equipment.
