The company patented its first car for the Keyless entry system.
Apple has patented in the USA the Keyless entry system in a car that runs using your iPhone or any other smartphone. It will allow the driver to unlock doors or remotely starting the engine. Document indirectly confirms that an American company is developing its own machine, which, presumably, may be called the iCar.
The Keyless entry system can remember your personal settings. Recognizing the approach of man, it is, for example, will automatically adjust seats and multimedia system in accordance with the preferences of the driver.
Also the owner will be able to “share” access to a car with another driver. If iCar will find that the phone with which the machine was opened, located at a great distance, the engine will be suppressed.
At the end of may it became known that Apple is exploring possible ways of recharging electric vehicles. Before it was reported that the American brand was organized in Berlin “secret laboratory” to design his car. The media believe that these data, as well as the transition to Apple several top managers of other automobile companies indicate that Apple is developing a car. The project was officially known, at least in 2015, still not confirmed.
In a series of Apple electric car should appear by 2020. Its production is planned to start at the facilities of the Austrian Corporation Magna Steyr, which manufactures cars for the MINI, Mercedes-Benz and Peugeot.
