Andrey Danilko told their opinion about the number of Jamala and her victory at the Eurovision song contest.
In Stockholm hosted the final of the international contest “Eurovision 2016”. The competition took place for the 61st time and was first shown in the United States. Jamal brought Ukraine the victory. Despite the predictions of bookmakers, who gave the victory of the Russian singer Sergey Lazarev, the representative of Ukraine left behind the competition. In sum, the results from the jury and the audience, our country has received 534 points. On the second place Australia – 511 points, and the bronze went to Russia – 491 score.
Member of the jury of the national selection Danilko gave an exclusive review of “Tonight” about Eurovision. The actor admitted that he did not doubt in the victory of Jamala.
– Andrew, what do you think helped Jamal to win this year at Eurovision?
– No one who predicts the results of “Eurovision”, and I including, could not guess the winner one hundred percent. Every year is different. Due to the fact that Jamala was a room, not parodied previous competitions, and she didn’t try to adjust to the format, and told her personal story, it also played a role. Also as it was in 2007, when my team went to the competition. We were told: “No, where are you getting!”, and we still get invited to all the events that are associated with the Eurovision.
– Have you already congratulated Jamal with the first place?
– Jamal I have written a text, but call her, I would, but you just can’t do this now. It now does not disturb, because my own experience tells me that now she starts a time of devastation after such a busy schedule. I wish her to just relax, eat plenty of fried potatoes and get some amenities for themselves.
– What was your first reaction when Jamal was declared the winner?
Maybe I’m not such an emotional person in that respect, but for me it was predictable. I saw the two semi-finals and all understood. You know when a song is different from what it was at the competition, this is a very important point. That’s when artist and you can remember against all others. For me, strangely more. As for NTU, which aired the contest, after the victory of our participants had no post-show, i.e. the discussion of the results. I do not agree what is said in the broadcast of Russian channels, but there is so support your artist, that envy takes. We have nothing like that at all. I believe that once a year the channel could gather the guests in the Studio to discuss this competition.
– You in General are happy that the Eurovision next year will we have?
– Of course, I am very glad that the contest will be held again in Ukraine. But now you need to collect the organising Committee, creative team, which would be carefully thought out program on all days of the competition in Ukraine. I am ready to be a part of! Sorry, but you need to prepare not only show, but also to put in order the Palace of sports. This also applies to the toilets and Smoking areas. But how many of us creative people, Directors.
