Why vaccinations are so important

“The lives of children should be a priority in our society. Falsification of statistics and the lack of vaccines
Legendary children’s pediatrician Eugene Komorowski acknowledged that in 35 years of work in medicine, absolutely no one is interested in what is happening with vaccinations in our country. However, and not only with them.
“Many people mistakenly think that vaccination doctors receive from manufacturers of money, benefits. This is not so. In my life, I received the award two times in life, even in the Soviet Union. Do doctors give vaccinations very little time. But the terrifying truth is that our society has no idea what position on vaccination we are. We hear that supposedly vaccinated 50% of the country’s children, but this reality does not apply. And if the world community found out what is really going on with health care in Ukraine, our path to Europe would end immediately. And no Euro 2012 we wouldn’t have,” says the doctor.
One of the most terrible fraud – the statistics about the disease such as whooping cough. According to Komorowski, it affects virtually all children in Ukraine: coughing all kindergartens and whole classes. But as soon as the doctor put the child with the diagnosis “a whooping cough”, it will immediately receive threats from superior officers.
“Immediately running to the doctor, would scream that we thus increase the statistics of the disease. And since the main symptom of pertussis is a paroxysmal cough, you can put a bunch of other diagnoses bronchitis, pneumonia, acute respiratory infections. And these supposedly “bronchitis” we have the whole country. In Ukraine ten years there is an epidemic of whooping cough, but it’s hidden. We don’t know the mortality statistics. A child with whooping cough can die from respiratory failure or pneumonia. And thus all references will be written – “pneumonia”. About the whooping cough doesn’t recognize not a soul,” says Komorowski.
Today hundreds of thousands of mothers of our country are desperately searching for a vaccine for their child, because it is totally missing. But the situation is ignored by all of: the President, the Ministry of health and other agencies.
“In Ukraine there are no drugs for emergency care. All over the country in July last year I reported that the shelf life of anti-diphtheria serum will end in September. And he still ended. All the biological laws of outbreaks of diphtheria occur every 15-25 years. I lived in the epicenter of the outbreak in the 90-ies. The situation could be repeated at any time. And as we have vaccinated at least 50% of children during such outbreaks in every yard of the country will stand baby coffins. But this is still hard to remain silent,” – said the expert.
The same scenario goes from diagnosis “diphtheria”. In 1991 after each doctor’s opinion Yevgeny Olegovich called from the Ministry and urged to write in the card a sore throat or any other illness.

According to the doctor, so only managed to learn that we had vaccinated only 8-14% of children, but the government reported 99%.
The parents ‘ fear and myths about immunizations
Not always the problem lies only in the absence of vaccines, since many of them available today, and even in large quantities. It is also the fact that Ukrainian parents absolutely no confidence in any vaccine wherever it was introduced.
Olga Yalovenko, and other members of the public organization “Parents for vaccines” I visited more than 10 cities with lectures and meetings for parents. Activists visit schools, kindergartens and talk in particular to young mothers about how to vaccinate children.
“The image of vaccination in our country is just terrible. Vaccines we fear more than complications from disease. And even when all over the country trumpeted the polio outbreak, the queue with the kids in the clinic was not simple. We did our research and saw that only 19% of conscious parents are willing to vaccinate their children. We want to restore people’s correct understanding of this topic. And when vaccination all mothers of Ukraine will be urged to demand and extort, then the state will do something,” – emphasizes Olga Yalovenko.
Often mothers of little children ask Olga, why are many infectious diseases in Europe almost sick. But at the same time, those moms are firmly convinced that in Ukraine the Europeans “reset” harmful vaccines. The truth is that in the EU countries from a variety of diseases has long been grafted about 98% of children. As you know, a lot of parents are afraid to vaccinate children, fearing undesirable consequences. It is often published on the Internet stories about that child after vaccination has stopped working, the liver, and the other completely paralyzed legs.
However, even simple side-effects from vaccination is extremely rare, said Dr. Komarovsky.
“In position against vaccinations people come up with incredible things. I have seen sites where you can even download the poster in high resolution with the inscription “we shall Not make a baby mutant”. Can you imagine? In light of all this, I am not inclined to believe that all lead children to be vaccinated, if you hold people to an introductory lecture. What to do with the problem
Such a complicated situation cannot be solved only by Ministry of health. The lack of state policy on this issue – that is the main problem.
