Seven facts about Dallas that may seem interesting.
1. For some time, Dallas was the only city in Texas where the law required that adults should wear a helmet if they ride bikes. Now this law applies only to those under 18. I can only imagine looks like a grown man in a suit, for example, riding a bike, and even in the helmet.
2. In 2011, the Dallas native was tried for what he opened the business that day was a Church, a night club for Swingers. Hot mix, right? But some entrepreneurial spirit!
3. Prostitution was legal in Dallas for a short time in the early 20th century. Authorized to be sold could be in the red light district, which was known as Frogtown (toad town).
4. Some of the strangest fried delicacies available here at the fair include fried beer, fried coke, and (for a minute) fried eggs with cream.
5. Unfunny fact. When President Kennedy was assassinated in Dealey Plaza in downtown Dallas in 1963, he was on tour in five cities of Texas. His first stop was planned in the Market Center of Dallas.
6. Dallas is the birthplace of the Frozen Margarita cocktail, created in 1971 by restaurateur Mariano Martinez.
7. Dallas was the home of Clyde barrow and Bonnie Parker, better known as Bonnie and Clyde, which made a number of high-profile crimes with their partners during the great depression.
