On the roof of the new York Metropolitan Museum of art opened a new exhibition, the Central object of which was the replica of the famous house of psychological Thriller Alfred Hitchcock’s “Psycho”. The author of the art-object became a British artist Cornelia Parker. According to her, to create installations inspired her, in addition to the film, the paintings of Edward hopper — American artist, one of the most prominent urbanists of the twentieth century. At the time, the mansion in which the unfolding of the most dramatic moments in Psycho, decorators almost drew with his painting “house by the railroad”.
The art object will be on the roof of the Metropolitan Museum until 31 October.
